1/4" Tweak XL


It's only been 9 years since the original 4mm Tweak, but I've finally made a 1/4" version!

I've made this in 3 materials, Aluminum, Brass, and Copper.  The Aluminum and Brass versions have a matching bearing cap, but the Copper bodied Tweak comes with a Brass Cap. Sorry I couldn't afford the 1" bar of copper. (About $350 shipped)  Maybe in the future I'll have replacement caps available.

The 1/4" Tweak comes with 3 bits, so it's ready to go right out of the box.  It will have 2 bits inside the internal storage, you just remove the bearing cap to access the bit storage.  The bit storage is pretty tight tolerance, because it has to be.  The bearing is only holding on to about .015" wall thickness, which is already cutting it close.  I would wager to guess this has never been done before in 1/4" drivers with a 608 rear bearing.

I don't have any links to bits, but this was tested specifically for Dewalt 1/4" bits. While all 1/4" bits will work in the driver, it's the bit storage that might become a little tight with some cheaper china bits or damaged bits. I've supplied the most common bits you will use.

The Grip was designed with Torque in mind. The size of screws this will be used for don't need as much torque as you think.  It was a balance of grip and being comfortable to use. Kind of like the 4mm Tweak version.

Tweak and Tweak Tray is something I designed back in 2017 for myself.
I had thousands of screws to install in TUKK, and need something more ergonomic to use.
So I decided to make the Tweak to help me install countless screws over the years.
The screws were small, so I needed a small precision screwdriver to help.
Most other screwdrivers made my hand cramp up, and when I had 100's of screws to install, I had to do something.

After awhile people noticed the Tweak in the background of my Instagram posts, and asked if I would make and sell them.  I decided to do a pre-order on them and they were a huge hit.

Unfortunately TUKK XL and TUKK JR production took over, and I had no time to make Tweak. Times have changed and Tactical Keychains now make TUKK Jr and TUKK XL, so I have time to make this again!

Tweak is a Fully Custom, Small Precision Titanium 4mm bit driver used for small fasteners.

It holds 2 bits under the magnetic brass cap for using it on the go.  It provides more than enough grip for small fasteners.

Tweak Tray is a billet aluminum tray that holds the tweak and all the bits you could ever want.  It has magnets to hold the tweak, and also magnets in the screw tray to keep things tidy.

Brad's Tip: Leave a bit in the Tweak when you put it in the tray. The next time you want to use it, just press down on the bit.  You will notice that a magnet will hold the tweak up at an angle so you can easily grab the Tweak.
